Julia Kopala is the author of “When Heaven Comes… Into the Classroom, How to Reduce Stress and Increase Overall Well-being through Holistic Health Practices”.
She was the founder of a very successful holistic health pilot course. The pilot course was offered at a local high school in Edmonton, Alberta from 1999 to 2007.
Kopala is also the author of a forthcoming Ebook On Purpose… Self-Talk Your Way to Hope and Laughter.
Julia shares her wisdom and experience gathered from 37 years as a teacher and counsellor. She has personally and professionally pursued a path of holistic health for over four decades.
Currently, she is immersed in a number of writing projects focused on hope and laughter.
Kopala holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology and drama, a Teaching Certificate, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, a Women’s Counselling Certificate, as well as Acupressure, Yoga Instructor, Brain Gym, Spiritual Response Therapy and Reiki Master certification.
Julia’s love for life embraces a passion for Argentine tango and contemporary glamping on the shores of “Alberta’s ocean.”
She resides in Edmonton, Alberta with her husband and partner John. Together they have two amazing adult children, Joshua and Justine.
